IMS, NGN e NIST-SIP questions.

Hi people.

 

I know SIP is important/useful to IMS and NGN (Next Generation Networks), as
explained in some web pages that I have seen.

 

So, I suppose NIST-SIP is or will be important to IMS and NGN too.

Can someone of you give-me some example of NIST-SIP contribution for any
product, or any device, or any service using IMS, nowadays, please?

 

I would like to figure out what is the NIST-SIP´s applicability in telecom
market nowadays. I also need a definition of NIST-SIP contribution to NGN.

 

Any hint, or web site/ document citation to me will be very helpful, in this
area.
