Hi Janos Haber, Yesterday I was reading an IEEE paper about something like your idea. It is from 2003. So, I don't know if the paper subject is updated. The title is: "Creating Value Added Services in Internet Telephony: An Overview and a Case Study on a High-Level Service Creation Environment." Maybe it can draw some idea or even give some hint to you. Hope it helps. Somebody know top level SIP API based on JAIN_SIP? The Nist API is cool but too low level. I want to simply set the local port, the host port and address, the authentication details (username/details) and the sdp description. I not want to write the low level answers (example refresh or handling the transaction terminated event by hand). I tried to write a sip app with Nist which communicate with Voipbuster server (I connected), but it's it's send 3 transaction terminated event and disconnected after 1 min. The sip-communicator and the sip-applet examples is too compilcated. I only want to call 2 SIP address and connect the RTP ports (no RTP parsing etc). But it's too complicated with Nist API (Creating many headers, handling the errors, transactions etc...)
