Problem with simplecallsetup(Example)

Hi everbody,
  I am a beginner with nist-sip. At a starting point i tried to understand the example simplecallsetup in the distrubution. But i cant run it. The Error that i cant handle is:
  java.lang.NullPointerException
  at gov.nist.javax.sip.stack.UDPMessageChannel.sendMessage(UDPMessageChannel.java:677)
  at gov.nist.javax.sip.stack.UDPMessageChannel.processIncomingDataPacket(UDPMessageChannel.java:323)
  at gov.nist.javax.sip.stack.UDPMessageChannel.run(UDPMessageChannel.java:255)
  at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)
   
  I changed the ports in case they may be in use bu didnt work. I'll be appreciated if i pass this error.Thanks for your help and time.
