nist Jain-sip usage issues- application set branch param in via as well display name in from/to headers are not populated into sip message

Hi

I am trying to use the nist's jain-sip implementation. I had the following
issues:

Tried to set the application provided branch parameter in via header using
"createViaHeader" with non "null"  branch parameter. but it is not populated
into the sip message sent out. Also tried to set it using "setBranch" even
that did not work.

Tried to set the display name in the to/from headers using "setDisplayName",
again that is not populated into the sip message sent out.

I appreciate a lot if  some body  help me if there is any issue with
setting these parameters or if it is the usage issue.
