Stumbled over an old issue with an example which helped me a lot:

usage via shell was part of the issue. Using kamcmd in interactive
mode helped.

With some more testing I got this working:

kamcmd> ul.add location AORUSER@dummy sip:[email protected]:5077;transport=tcp 0 0.44 <sip:sbc-hostname;lr> 0 0 16351 . .

AOR requires a host part - which is ignored.

Port an transport are optional, I added them as example.

0.44 is the default Q value we use so this ensures parallel forking in
case there are multiple contacts.

I took the Methods mask (16351) from dynamic registered contacts - I
have not yet found the documentation for it.
Setting it to zero results in the lookup failing with 'no matching
methods'.

So - back to testing ;-)
