thanks for your reply.
The Softphone sends out the CANCEL with the private IP. 
There is a Vodafone Router involved, which seems to be injecting the public IP into the Via header.

So we will enforce TLS traffic (which was only enabled for testing purposes anyway), resolving this issue.
