Hello Kamailio community,

My name is Asmaa, I work as a project manager in the IT field.
I am currently deploying Kamailio as an SBC in front of an IPBX system and
I am looking to deepen my knowledge of the product, I would like to ask the
community a few questions to help me validate my approach:
1.Production readiness:  =E2=80=93 Is Kamailio considered mature and stable=
 enough
for production environments, including medium and large deployments? Are
there known limitations I should be aware of?

2.Security:  =E2=80=93 What are the recommended best practices for hardenin=
g a
Kamailio instance? Are there official security guidelines or checklists
available? How are CVEs and vulnerabilities handled and communicated to the
community?

3.Patch management:  How frequently are security patches and updates
released? What is the recommended upgrade process to avoid service
disruption in production?

4. Cloud environments :=E2=80=93 Is Kamailio well-suited for cloud deployme=
nts
(e.g. on-premise VM, AWS, Azure)? Are there specific considerations or
known issues in virtualized or containerized environments?

5.Long-term support:  =E2=80=93 Is there a concept of LTS versions? How lon=
g are
older branches maintained?

6.Cloud-hosted IPBX compatibility =E2=80=93 Can Kamailio be used as an SBC =
in front
of a cloud-hosted IPBX (e.g. hosted PBX, UCaaS platforms)? Are there any
specific configurations or limitations to be aware of in this scenario?

7.Commercial support: =E2=80=93 Are there trusted companies or partners off=
ering
professional support around Kamailio?

I am aware that some of these questions may have answers already available
in the documentation or wiki =E2=80=93 any pointers to the right resources =
would
also be very welcome.
