Some questions imply

- as this is a multi DC deployment, how will your calls be balanced between
the 2 DCs and between nodes? Will you have an SBC handling load balancing
and failover?
- are the nodes, in each DC, available in a private network only (i.e: SBC
talks with Kamailio nodes using private IPs or VPN) or are they facing
public networks?

I would use 2 nodes in each DC, in active-passive mode, maybe sharing a VIP
between nodes of same DC (though DNS might be better option). Failover is
never enough. DMQ to share dialogs between nodes on each DC.
And in case you have an SBC handling load balancing and failover, use DNS.
