7.1 builds on Mac OS X 10.2 - and crashes

Hi,

Ok, I've got Amaya to build on Mac OS X 10.2, but I've got a couple of
problems:

1) Most images aren't being displayed. The start page images is, but
(for example) no images on slashdot.org are shown. Ideas? I've heard
of a similar error in gimp using the Apple X11 server (which I'm
using) so maybe that's the source of the error.

2) (More significant) Amaya crashes alot. Here's a backtrace:
