FreeBSD: compilation fails

Hi,

I get a dozen lines like

sed: 36: /tmp/csjibZ4f/subs-3.sed: filename expected
config.status: creating Options.orig
sed: 36: /tmp/csjibZ4f/subs-3.sed: filename expected
config.status: creating tools/Makefile

when I do ../configure. autoconf doesn't make it any better. (Amaya-8.1b)

Any hints?
