a small problem (small for some people): download not consistant

Hello.

I just want to let you know I have a modem-quality connection (56Kbps)
and during downloading amaya the connection timed out 27 times. It's
often very fast (close to 7KB/s) and after some time become 0KB/s until
timeout. I often use the night time to download software, and amaya is
the only one that cannot maintain connection for more than 3 hours
(other software at some 808MB downloads fine at 4KB/s in several days
with only one tcp connection).

A small problem for me (I can use wget with retry=100) but some others
might suffer. Maybe worth checking the server setting? e.g. is there are
maximum time for single tcp connection limitation?
