There's already a more recent version [1] so you should try to upgrade
and check if it has been fixed.

This might have to do with Amaya saving window locations which may
become incoherent when multiple monitor configuration is switched. For
comparison, I sometimes make some experiments with Amaya, using a dual
monitor configuration, and never experienced such a behavior. But I
don't switch dual<-->single monitor configuration. I've made a quick
experiment and I wasn't able to reproduce, although I noticed an
interesting behavior which may be related with this.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Amaya;
2. Maximize it in the primary (left, in my case) monitor;
3. Open the "Open document..." dialog (Ctrl o o);
4. Notice the relative dialog position;
5. Move the into the secondary (right, in my case) monitor;
6. Open the "Open document..." dialog (Ctrl o o);
7. Notice the relative dialog position;

Expected result:
Open document dialog would be placed in the same relative position
(centered to window, possibly).

Actual result:
In step 4, open document dialog is placed more close to the window top
then in step 7 (which appears centered). Both dialogs are opened
coherently in the same monitor in which Amaya is in (as expected).

My dual monitor setup:
-Primary monitor left;
-Secondary monitor right;
-Both set at 1280x1024.

Operating environment:
-Operating system: Windows XP SP3;
-Amaya version 10.1 (Oct 17);

Yeah, this is a good workaround. ;-)
