Hey Aengus,

I think ideally both Firefox and Opera would be a little more informative
because it would be great to have an accurate OS report as well. But you're
right from my point of view (mainly design) I just need to know the browser
that my visitors are running, although there are subtle differences for
example between IE7 on XP and Vista. I wonder how other people did this?

Anyway, I am quite impressed by how little information Opera especially gives
away. Version 1.6 of 64-bit Firefox died a death and hasn't been developed
for ages, I seem to remember there's a reason nobody uses it, it's not in
final I think. Version 3.0 will be great when it comes along, but it's still
in alpha at the moment and while I have used it before that's only in a
virtual machine.

Nobody much uses 64-bit browsers at the moment, so long as Adobe and Flash
stay resolutely 32-bit!

Paul
