Hi there, I have a project ongoing at the moment where we need to generate reports on particular applications in a month's worth of access logs. The reports have to show the number of requests to an application over the month by small time periods - initially hour by hour, but later we would like to get this down to 5 minute intervals. Each application can be defined by one or more regular expressions so I can using FILEALIAS to group then. I then want to use Analog to produce a time based report on the access logs so each row represents an application and each column represents subsequent time periods over that month showing the number of requests per application/time period. I can see how to do this with multiple runs of Analog on an application or time period basis then using shell scripts to merge the reports. However it is possible to do this all in one single run of Analog or is this another question which comes under question 26 in the FAQ? Rgds., Nick. +------------------------------------------------------------------------ | TO UNSUBSCRIBE from this list: | http://lists.meer.net/mailman/listinfo/analog-help | | Analog Documentation: http://analog.cx/docs/Readme.html | List archives: http://www.analog.cx/docs/mailing.html#listarchives | Usenet version: news://news.gmane.org/gmane.comp.web.analog.general +------------------------------------------------------------------------
