Jens, could you sent a patches in the form of separate (one patch per problem) unified diffs? It can be easily generated using this command: $ cvs diff -u > my.patch Alternatively, you can generate the patch by having two source trees: original and yours, by doing this: $ diff -urN aspseek-orig/ aspseek-my/ > my.patch In the former case you need to clean up both trees from computer-generated files that could be changed (like *.o files, Makefiles, etc.), so the patch can be clean. And the final step before submitting your patch is read it to make sure it's correct and clean. It will be much easier for me (or anybody else) to review (and possibly submit to CVS) your changes.
