Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Google_ServiceException' with message 'Error calling POST

I'm getting this error every time I try to set the meta description of a 
post ($mypost->setCustomMetaData(string)). If i don't put this the code 
works perfectly, but i really want to be able to change the posts meta 
data. does anyone know what it can be? thanks :)
