Sorry for not getting back to you earlier on this. You could well be right
that I am overly concerned. Your idea of a push/pop stack is definitely
intriguing. However, because I was into seeing what I could do and
more-less just for kicks, I did implement a solution using a hash. I think
there is definite room for improvement in several areas. However, if
anyone is interested, my solution can be seen here:
