Pulling Blogger Posts into Android App

I am working on a news app that will pull posts in from Blogger and display 
them. It will display a list of Blogger posts with excerpts and thumbnails 
and then the full post if a post is selected.

I am having trouble working out a way to achieve this, I think that the 
Blogger API is the best way (https://developers.google.com/blogger/) but I 
am struggling to implement this. Any example code that I am using is not 
working. I have imported the API into Gradle on Android Studio but it 
appears I still am missing dependencies.

As well as this I am unsure of how to go about formatting the content once 
I figure out how to get it into the app. Any guidance would be appreciated.
