Using my domain with Blogger - weirdness

So I successfully got my domain name attached to my Blogger blog. It was a pretty straightforward process, and no hiccups were had. ... EXCEPT ... On my domain, I had a wildcard forward set up for email addresses (*@mydomain.tld), which was configured at my registrar (1and1) to forward any mail bound for my domain name to my gmail account. Since tying the domain name to my blogger blog, I no longer receive mail through that domain name.
