Switch blogger post title h2 and h1 tags

I have been working quite hard on my blog but it is lacking in SEO. Taking a look at the blogger blogs with high alexa ranking like 'helplogger.blogspot.com' and 'bloggeryard.com', i noticed that there post titles have h2 tag on the blog homepage but when the post is clicked and the post page is opened the post title's tag changes to h1. I searched he web for the solution but i could not find it. I tried myself also to solve the issue but colud not solve it. Please help! the post title tag should be h2 on the blog home page and blog title should have h1 tag.
