Hiya Martin,

This is way off topic, but as a pointer for getting started, you probably
want to download and install Mercurial for Windows, and Maven (along with
the JDK).

Some starting points from five minutes of googling:

   - http://mercurial.selenic.com/wiki/Download
   -
   http://maven.apache.org/guides/getting-started/windows-prerequisites.html

As for where to type those commands, you will need a shell. Something like
PowerShell for windows would probably work. I haven't done any serious
development on Windows since Win3.1, so please take my directions with a
large grain of salt.
