Is V1 API returning bad JSON? (Also, submitted API key request)

Dear Google Developer Support, My site has been dependent on V1 API requests, but starting this week the JSON returned from my query http://www.newliturgicalmovement.org/feeds/posts/default?alt=json-in-script&callback=document.write is being rejected as containing an unterminated string. E.g., when I test it with the validator at http://www.freeformatter.com/json-validator.html this error message appears: "The JSON input is NOT valid in JavaScript, unterminated string literal (At line #2), (At position #38540)" When the JSON object is loaded in the user's browser, a similar error appears in the JS console. If the V1 API is no longer supported, I don't mind rewriting my code, so I've submitted an API key request. Is there a next step for me to take after doing that?
