Luca, as per my observations Blogger caches gadgets, and if there was an error with it in the past (including that it couldn't access it before for some reason, etc), it will show the same error message for a while. One workaround would be to change the name of gadget file every time you modify it (I do that by changing version number in file name). Hence every time when adding the gadget by URL, point to the new file. Hope that helps.
