How can I add swipe gesture for next/prev blogger posts?

Hello, I am trying to figure out how to add touch navigation to my custom blogger template. I have tried several jquery plugins but none of them seemed to work because I can't implement it properly. Please help me add simple left and right gesture support for older/newer posts switching.
