Logging into blogger with yahoo username

Hi,

I can't seem to get a legitimate answer from blogger/google re: how to 
access my blog dashboard with a yahoo username. I set it up before google 
took over and am now trying to log back in. When I go through the process  
on Blogger they send me an email telling me to log in with my yahoo 
username which is NOT POSSIBLE!! I don't know why they keep regurgitating 
this useless information. I have tried the clear all cache, history, etc , 
log out of all google accts to no avail, it will only allow me to login 
with a g account. If anyone could share a way that actually works for me to 
log in with my current yahoo username 
and then change my login to google I would really appreciate it.
