Increment view counter

Retrieving posts from the Blogger API does not automatically increment the 
views counter.
It doesn't matter whether I'm fetching an individual post or the first page 
of the entire post list, the aggregate, or the individual view counter does 
not change.

So basically how do I affect the view counter of my blog (posts) without 
going directly to my blog?
