Re: API error for posts/pages queries without status and for specific page/post query

Is your blog private? I get a 404 for step 3, and I can see that it is 
because "Anonymous user does not have read permissions for the blog"

Do me a favour, and for step 2, set the 'view' field to 'ADMIN', and see if 
you stop getting a 404?
I suspect the reason it works when you set a bunch of statuses is that the 
API automatically bumps up the view level to the minimum for the statuses; 
you requested 'DRAFT' so since you didn't explicitly request a view type, 
it bumped it up to AUTHOR. Can you confirm that for me?
