Bumping this a bit. Is there no one that can answer if the correct path to take is to use the Picasa API if I want my blog photos to use the unlimited storage offered by Google Photos? I do not want to spend time on the wrong API? Maybe I am missing something but this seems like a valid question, image storage and coordination is a big reason for me to try to use Blogger instead of wordpress.
