Why can't I REALLY delete my blog?

I'm trying to delete my blog but I can't! The problem is that I may did something to delete it some time ago but when I search my blog in google it's still there. When I'm logging in to my blogger account there's no blog in my account. Furthemore I cannot see any settings about my blog! I reset my password in case I find some solution but still nothing. Why is this happening? I'm very confused about all this. I'd appreciate any help.
