post from google api v3 does not show up in search q

hi,

im having some problems when using the google api, if i post via google 
api, everything works, but the post does not show up in my search result.

But if i simply update the post via blogger, edit the post basically and 
click on update button without doing anything. It shows up in the search 
result.

can somebody please advice why this is the case?

Below is my code:
   Post post = new Post
            {
                Title = blogTitle,
                Content = blogContent,
            };

            var x = new PostsResource.UpdateRequest(_service, post, BlogId, 
PostId);
            x.Publish = true;
            var result = x.Execute();
