Landing page creation... problems...

We have a blogger url www.sailingdee.com This was used, until now, to 
publish our posts normally with blogger platform... however, now i would 
like to use the url www.sailingdee.com as a landing page and from there 
visitor could choose if proceed to our blog posts or to other page in other 
platform (for a different content created by us 
www.facebook.com/deethaifoodtruck).

A blogger (google) expert from the forum suggested several changes which i 
follow by the letter, including chaging the theme to a theme based on 
SOHO...and some changes in the body HTML... and CSS codes...but nothing 
worked... I tried to post here the CSS but didnt manage to post it... check 
the picture to see what he suggested and i tried...
