Can't Upload Content to My Blog

I'm trying to upload my old .xml file to Blogger. It just won't upload. I 
select the file and it tells me it's "writing blog posts" but it just 
thinks and thinks. The file never does upload. The file size is 485KB. Any 
ideas of what else I can try?
