Are you using apache?

If yes, I believe we had the same trouble.

There is a global configuration which needs to be set to utf-8 which webtest uses in priority over the encoding specified on the page.

Hi,

I've got an encoding issue this morning using webtest:

All Files are encoded in UTF-8, but WebTest doesn't seem to understand them:

selectFieldStep:
name	neuGebraucht
text	Vorführwagen

the code to  that part:

setSelectField(name: "neuGebraucht", text: "Vorführwagen")

The result-Page shows the selectField-entries correctly. One more fact:
Labels and Texts are also not correct shown by WebTest, but in Firefox everything is ok
