I happen to like using Webtest and find it truly disappointing that the pro= duct has slipped into the state is has. I wonder if the sponsors would be = willing to donate it or host it elsewhere=85 or if that would even help. I= t is difficult for me to gauge the level of interest or use in the product = via this mailing list. It was once much more active and leads me to believ= e that most have moved to another tool. I work with a test team that are n= ot developers, and the ability to write test scripts using Ant XML is much = easier for them to grasp than writing Java code. I was able to get a version of Webtest running on htmlunit 2.12. But the c= hanges in 2.14 and dependencies are a little more daunting and I have not h= ad the time required to get a good feel for how all of the pieces work toge= ther so that I can make updates.
