My group is starting an internal project to create a usability scorecard.
The idea is to track activity across the multiple projects we do.
Examples of things to track would be: number of user tests run, number of
subjects, services used vs. services recommended, was work done by
internal or contracting resource, etc.
We also have a desire to create a more robust knowledge base of our
usability data. Up and beyond storing usability reports in a common file
share... some type of database that could be searched. We have some
questions about who and how something like this would be of benefit.
What are your experiences? What is the best way to get the most out of
tracking activity and archiving usability data without too much effort?
Thanks,
Chris
