Re: How to present images in various sizes?

You could look at istockphoto.com. They show varying sized thumbnails
aligned in a grid, and on mouseover a larger version is displayed. I use the
site regularly and haven't noticed issues with that aspect of the
interaction.

(Though personally I wouldn't follow their next page feature, where the last
image in the page is faded and includes 'next page' in the thumbnail. I find
it confusing.)
