Some years ago, someone clever made recommendations about link text
and text on the target pages. The goal was that users should
understand the link text and have a good idea of where it would take
them. Some prominent text on the target page should reassure them
that they'd gotten to the right place, probably by repeating some of
the link text.
I mentioned this to a client the other day and realized that I hadn't
heard any discussion about it in a long time. Has anyone looked into
this more recently? Anyone find anything different?
