Literatures about supporting multitask and multisession in browser

All,

I am curiously about that is there any literatures, or research projects,
etc. on supporting multitask and multisession in browser? I want to research
on this direction, but unfortunately hardly found useful information about
it. Any suggestion will be appreciated J
