(I've now had over 400 participants for this survey but 85% are working
or studying in science or technology  - not too surprising really, given
the nature of the email groups I have used. Please forward this to
non-technical friends, relatives or colleagues so I can get a more
balanced response. Also, just to confirm, I will be distributing the
results in the next week or so.)
