Hi Sandeep, If you are talking about including the user's login name in the welcome message, then this is a good way for the user to be assured they are logged in as the right person, and they know that the system knows who is currently using the application. Saying "Welcome, Mark" or something along those lines would help you know that Sandeep, for example, is not the person currently logged in. If, however, you have this login name listed elsewhere and you are simply talking about having a friendly message, then i think this is not as critical on an application. A retail site might like this for branding and experiential purposes (and this may still apply to your application) but functionally it does not seem necessary.
