PhD Survey - Subjective Evaluation of Audio-Visual Correspondence

Dear All,

We are currently looking for volunteers to participate in our study on Subj=
ective Evaluation of Audio-Visual Correspondence. We would be grateful if y=
ou could participate. Volunteers in this study will be asked to perform a s=
eries of image-sound similarity and detection tasks.  By participating in t=
his study you will help us to investigate which auditory and visual  featur=
es are the best correlates and which factors affect the perceived similarit=
y between aural and visual structures. Further the results of the survey wi=
ll be used to inform the mapping of an audio-visual interface for sound syn=
thesis. The aim of the system is to enable interaction with sound synthesis=
 parameters through the act of sketching on a digital canvas.

Completing the study takes about 16 minutes.
