Hey all,

First: we are not leaving GitHub. We may disagree with some of what they focus 
on these days but they provide a solid platform for us and thanks to their 
generous sponsorship we have a powerful and effect CI setup that truly is the 
foundation for us doing high quality releases.

Then: to offer alternatives, for redundancy, as an experiment and to toy with 
a git mirror, we fired up such a one on codeberg the other day. It is a 
read-only git mirror that allows anyone who wants to, to get curl from there 
instead of GitHub:

  https://codeberg.org/curl/curl-mirror

We still do issues, pull requests and more on GitHub of course.
