What do we ask curl users 2026?

Hey,

Remember the annual curl user survey [2]? We run it every year in the May time 
frame, and later this year it should of course run again.

I need help with two things:

  - what host and service should we use for the survey? It would be good if we
    could import our questions into something, with some mild scripting
    applied, to avoid tedious manual work. Ideally we avoid the tech giants
    as they tend to make a certain amount of users avoid the survey.

  - what questions to ask? The current survey repository [1] has 42 questions I
    think are good (most of them we have asked every year for many years by
    now) but it makes sense to think it through again and consider what more we
    want to ask. Perhaps something that is current?
