(Apologies if you receive more than one of these.)

Our four-day training event in London, UxFest was a great success with very=
positive feedback from attendees. We are looking at running a similar even=
t in the Autumn, with a slightly different line up of courses. Hopefully we=
will have dates organized by this time next month.

Spring UX & UCD Training Courses in London

In April (the 11th) we will be introducing a new course focusing on Ecommer=
ce User Experience<http://www.syntagm.co.uk/design/ecommerceux.shtml>. This=
is based on benchmarking work we've been doing for almost 10 years on both=
intranets and ecommerce sites. The one-day course will help participants e=
valuate and improve ecommerce site design, while also showing where some of=
the most important user experience opportunities lie.

May 23rd is the debut of Card Sorting for User Experience<http://www.syntag=
m.co.uk/design/cardsortingux.shtml>, based on the popular half and full-day=
card sorting courses we have been running since 2004. This revised one-day=
course features the debut of our latest analysis software package, SynCaps=
V3 - this will allow researchers to make sense of all but the most confuse=
d sort results from either paper-based or online sorting activities. The co=
urse also looks at simple and inexpensive analysis techniques. (Participant=
s will be entitled to a full license for SynCaps V2, which can be applied t=
owards the purchase of SynCaps V3 when it is released for sale. Our earlies=
t package, SynCaps V1, is free.)

Finally, June sees the return of our general course on usable web design (c=
alled, appropriately enough, Web Design for Usability<http://www.syntagm.co=
.uk/design/webusability.shtml>) on the 13th. Unlike many usability courses,=
this one focuses on design and is more than a large collection of guidelin=
es and tips. We include a variety of tools and techniques to help participa=
nts apply usable design in their projects.

As always, there is a 3-for-2 discount across all of these courses, giving =
great flexibility to both individual and group attendees.

Visit our web site<http://www.syntagm.co.uk/design/schedule.shtml#uxfest> f=
or full details and to book online.

Courses in Vancouver

Two of our courses - Agile UX & UCD and Card Sorting - are featured in the =
tutorial programme for CHI 2011 in Vancouver. The courses programme is now =
on the conference web site - http://chi2011.org/program/courses.html

Drop us a line if you need a course you don't see on our site (see our cour=
se schedule<http://www.syntagm.co.uk/design/schedule.shtml>) or would like =
to run one or more in-house, anywhere in the world.

Training via Web Conferences

In February we started an 11-week training programme in usability and user-=
centred design for one of the world's largest providers of financial servic=
es systems. The training takes the form of regular two-hour interactive web=
conferences for as many as 500 software engineers around the world. It cov=
ers a range of topics, from navigation and accessibility through to Ajax us=
ability and design.

Get in touch<http://www.syntagm.co.uk/contactus.htm> if you have a training=
requirement or need usability, accessibility or user experience expertise.
