Those of you who are SIGCHI members will know that the SIGCHI Bulletin
changed from a printed to a web-based publication earlier this year. As
part of a farewell to the cellulose edition, I wrote an article looking
back over the column since its start in 2000. The topics covered are:

- the dot bomb extinction event and web evolution;
- the recurring question of how many users are needed for usability
testing;
- change blindness and web design;
- the really, really bad e-banking sites we are forced to use.
