  Just checked the diff, compiled and run. AFAIS, it's OK.

  @all, please compile/run rc1 and report how it went.

  When there's feedback from the main platforms (GNU/Linux already OK),
I'll add the release date, signature and upload to the site, so
the rest of the release can proceed.
