px in HTML

I have noticed that Dillo doesn't render px properly - this snippet:

<hr width=500px align=left>

just produces:

.

Using 50% (e.g.) works OK.  Is this bad HTML or a 'to-do' thing?

BTW, great bit of kit - so fast...
