Yes, at least one person uses dillo and reads here. Even with 
Tls_load_certificates() Dillo is significantly faster than Firefox.

Sorry to say, I don't understand TLS well enough to offer suggestions 
for improvement.

For many fundamental requirements, HTML5 is adequate without 
JavaScript. The difficulty is psychological: convince enthustic "Web 
programmers" to refrain from JavaScript and compose efficient pages.
