Just the one macromedia function! :) But yeah, i've done a bit of reading and apparently there's a number of IE background-image bugs floating about including ones to do with metadata that Photoshop inserts into jpeg files. So I think i'm going to have to change the functionality a little bit. Thanks anyway and i'll do a search for what you suggested.
