Hey Mandy,

Why not just add a few "useless" <script src="foo"></script>
throughout your site?

For example, if the login page is light, maybe source two or three
extra Javascript files just to make them fresh in the browser's cache,
same for a page the user is likely to spend a long time visiting.  I
assume the page that is likely to be visited for a longer time is more
complicated than the others.  If this is the case, it's easy to
explain why it takes a little longer to download.

It's not very flashy, but low-tech might be more resilient than high-tech.
